There is a time and a place for talk therapy. I recommend therapy for those dealing with big, unprocessed trauma or for the individual or couple significantly struggling with self-regulation.
Relationship coaching, for the individual or couple, is goal-focused and action-oriented. A coach will help the client(s) gain insights and learn new skills to reach their relational goals. Coaching sessions include goal setting, examining the fears that may be holding you back, and learning new skills, and taking action that helps propel you forward.
